The Greek Guy's Grill Experience Call-in/Pick-up Edition). I had ridden passed the Greek Guy's Grill a couple of times and thought I would try them out. So I called in and ordered their Chicken Souvlaki Greek Salad Pita Plate that comes with two chicken skewers, pita bread, and Tzatziki sauce. I also ordered their onion rings. The individual that took my order was pleasant and gave me a 15 minute wait time. Once I arrived at the restaurant, my food was ready, and I was walking out in no time. Greek heaven has arrived in Winston-Salem! In my opinion, this is one of the top Greek restaurants in all of North Carolina. The food is consistently well-prepared, the service is prompt, and the drive-thru option makes it even more convenient. However, what really sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service provided by the friendly staff. They greet you like family and send you off with a warm farewell that will make you want to return. This restaurant and its delectable dishes truly deserve to be treasured.
Been here a couple of times and service is lackluster the young lady at the register was very nice, helpful and friendly 5 starts for her. Đrinks were a mystery until instructed to retrieve them ourselves once our order was ready. The portions were ok but not very flavorful. The tsat-tsiki dice was bland and had no cucumber flavor at all I only tasted white pepper. The gyro was nothing special nor was the souvlaki.
I don?t often leave bad reviews. We have ordered here in the past and been happy. Last night, we ordered by Uber eats. Without checking with us, the restaurant substituted a ridiculous french fry with feta and olives for one of our entrees. I've enjoyed lunches from Greek Guy's many times. They have quite a selection that you can try something different every time you go. The food is always good though nothing really sets them apart. Of course the Greek dishes are tastier than some of the regular items on the menu. They're a good change of pace from the norm. Can be a little on the pricey side but in all fairness, who isn't these days.
Ordered take out tonight. Bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and pickles, didn’t want the tomato or onion they put on. Got home and had 1 pickle! .45 extra for 1 pickle, disappointing. They should have zeroed it out pickles is less than tomato and onion. Fries were under cooked as well. Order in and your order is right, take out and it’s wrong. ???
I have been here for years and the food is always delicious and slso great quality. I have just recently started seeing a very bubbly, blonde lady in there working the last few times, and she definitely adds to the experience. She is friendly and happy and sweet! Always smiling!
