Well beyond 5 stars in my eyes! Tip: they are on the San Diego restaurant gift cards available at Costco (normally $80 for $100 of dining but often go on sale for $58 We went to Green Dragon for my wife’s birthday with a group of 19. Making the reservation was quick and easy. They were all set up for us when we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly. We had a dedicated server just for our party and he was great (especially with 7 kids under the age of 8! . The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful and clearly appreciated that we brought our group to his restaurant. The food was all delicious. Ranging from lobster rolls, to ahi salads, to turkey pot pies, to shrimp tacos, to burgers...
If you want to wait for a Caesar Salad for 22minutes this is the place for you!! If you want to see three tables be sat after you and finish their meals before you even get your appetizers, this is most definitely the place for you!! If you want to have great service, good atmosphere, honesty and good food, definitely walk across the street and treat yourself to the Mainstream bar and grill!! They know how to treat their customers!!!
The food and style were all New England style. We split an order of very yummy French dip and New England clam chowder. I would have liked to have ad more clams in the chowder, but it was good none the less. Reading the place mats and seeing the rest of the building and the museum helped you think you were in Boston and not in CA.
I had the ahi tuna salad was wonderful. We came here in a party of 8 and all were impressed with their dishes including the shrimp tacos, the salmon burger and shepherd's pie. The service was great and the atmosphere, with the East Coast vibe and the museum, was unique and interesting. Highly recommend!

I had the Connecticut lobster roll. It was less of a roll and more a sandwich. Not that I'm complaining. It was delicious. The museum portion has some interesting artifacts but the didactic materials could use some editing. Fun place to take someone who's interested in the time period.
Very....American Patriotic, if you are into that, then it's a slam dunk. 5 stars... because history is important. The food is amazing. And the staff is always beyond courteous.
