Last night, we ordered online. When I got there to pick up the pizza, I was told that it was up next and that it would be just a few minutes. About 15 minutes later, after several people picked up their orders, I asked why the delay and was told again that it was up next and would be a few more minutes. When I asked why I was told it again that it would be up next, I was told that it was up next. It was a circular discussion with the cashier purposely missing the point. I asked to see the manager. His response was not much different than the cashier's response. His only addition was to mention that they had a deal going that night that was popular which set them back timewise. I didn't care...
After years of hearing about this place, I got the chance to taste and review.! I wanted to compare to Buddys. I server Dominique told us they are known for their round pizza. But I wanted an apples to apples so I ordered the deep dish square. My take away was the pizza was great. I’m a big Buddy’s fan and would still give the edge to Buddy’s Detroiter. But I was not unhappy with my meal. Unfortunately, the server was not that good. She never brought us clean plates after our salads. And at the end of our meal, she brought the bill and then let us sit in front of dirty plates. Same services like this just about everywhere you go anymore though. But we were her only table.. Final words foods...
Update: while we usually love coming here for lunch our last experience was not great. Our server was not attentive even though the restaurant was not busy, and the restaurant was swarming with bees inside and out. We're allergic to bees and probably saw over ten in our faces and on our table our entire lunch break. None of the staff helped, it was other patrons who helped to fight them off the entire time we were there. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least.Love that this location has so much room, our server was friendly and available when we were ready and food and drinks are reasonably priced
The food is great for the price. I love their antipasto salad, it's HUGE (and that's the small size). The staff always seem overwhelmed, running around, but we're always there during busy times. We haven't experienced this yet, but it would probably be an awesome place to watch a game, great bar and tons of tvs.Parking: Parking isn't a problem except during the busiest times, but there is nearby public parking if their lot is full.

I've heard nothing but good things about Green Lantern Pizza. Finally, I was able to go! I am happy to report that it IS everything people said it was! The salad was awesome! The Lantern bread.... I will DREAM about that bread, so delicious!! We also got the Candy Coated Bacon, which my husband loved. The pizza was AMAZING!! So, so good! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, too. Tables weren't packed together.
My wife and I ate at Green Lantern Pizza for the first time on 07/21. It was about 1PM and we dined outside. My wife ordered a Cobb Salad and I ordered the corned beef Reuben. The service was excellent, the food was wonderful and the portions were generous!!! We will definitely stop here again!
You'd think pizza is just pizza, but then there is Green Lantern pizza. A whole new level of pizza. It's a level you never thought could exist because you've had every other pizza. So if you think pizza can't get any better, go to the Green Lantern level.
I just had lunch here with my man, and I gotta say, my mushroom swiss burger was the most delicious burger I've had in YEARS!!! My guy had the antipasto salad that he loved too. Definitely going back?

Great service, reasonable prices, and consistently good pizza. The pizza sauce is tangy and plentiful.For those who like cheesy bread, you will love Green Lanterns.
