Just a Sunday lunch with a group of 7 a somewhat challenging bundle!! Despite the place absolutely rammed, I know our hostess Megan M, which I suspect is one of the managers (if not, then should be), was so stressed by the sheer amount of expected people, but never once showed it external, a real professional. I know the hospitality industry very well, so there is no way Megan could have been anything else, but overwhelmed what an amazing young lady, as the service was top Notch and the smile never leave her face. She had no time to chat, laughing the other way around with any guests, but yet, she did with each of them. Excellent. The food was amazing that the hosting... I see Megan in a fin...

Came here for lunch with my friends. Was a last minute idea. And the service could not be any better. With myself being gluten free I was amazing by the wide variety of options that was available. I decided to go for the garlic prawns off of the specials menu and and the gluten free burger. My friend had gone for the duck off of the specials aswell and it was amazing. Great well done to the chefs for the amazing food. And thank you Lauren for the amazing service. You went above ans beyond. Would definitely recommend coming here

Christmas day meal with the family was outstanding. Food was well presented and hot and portion size was more than enough. Staff were very attentive and the decor was of high quality after a recent refurbishment. Plenty of parking and considering it was Christmas day I thought the pricing for 3 courses was spot on. We will return in the future and will hope to have the same positive outcome. Merry Christmas to all staff and thank you. Patrick.

Had another lovely stay here, the rooms are lovely. The hotel and pub have had a recent renovation, contemporary yet classic design throughout. The pub and restaurant are really good. Great value, the chefs specials are always wonderful. The front of house team, Lauren and Amy especially are brilliant, very helpful and knowledgeable. Olivia our waitress one evening was delightful. Hotel rooms are beautiful, and surely make themselves for the commercial look of the hotel outside. Eating nicely prepared BUT it was the staff that made my 3 nights the best. Professional and attentive. Thanks yiu Klara, always busy, but pleasant and jovial throughout.

Amazing food and was shocked at how fast it came! Was really great value for money and portion sizes were better than expected. Comfy chairs nice decor and overall very friendly atmosphere. Would visit again

Probably the best pub in Harlow. It looks really nice and cozy, it's a very good looking place. The Xmas decorations were really nice. A good selection of beers and drinks at reasonable prices. Recommended

Went for Sunday dinner with family. All of the meals were superb. Service was very good and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be going back.
