We ate both dinner and breakfast here during our two day stay. The service was wonderful and the food was great! The brisket nachos were delicious, the Alfredo was wonderful and each meal that our party of 6 had was great! The deck dining is simply awesome especially first thing in the morning! At breakfast there was a really adorable kitty that greeted us shortly, which was a sweet addition to our delicious meal. The kitty didn’t stick around, and the waitress checked in often. Greenbrier Grille and Lodge: A Disappointment The only positive thing I can say about the Greenbrier Grille and Lodge is its location on the river. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The service was incredibly slow, with a wait time of nearly 50 minutes after we ordered for cold food. When it finally arrived, the food was a complete disappointment. It was cold, as if it had been sitting in a fridge for hours. The flavors were bland, and the turkey plate was oddly topped with white sausage gravy. Came here with my family for vacation, we ate breakfast and dinner here. There was a really really cute cat which I found out was named Puss. Puss was very affectionate and it was nice because i was missing my cats back home. My food was amazing, and the French fries were cooked to perfection, crisp on the outside and melty beneath. There are even bags of food to feed the ducks with, and me and my sister did that. There was even a baby duck that we saw it was super cute. Staff was very nice and outgoing, also flexible in orders. Went to eat breakfast was really excited to try it out. Unfortunately when we got there after sitting for an hour people behind us that had just walked in got served first. Then once getting our food it was not what we expected and some wasn’t what we ordered. Had browns was uncooked. I usually don’t complain but this was just an all around bad first experience for us.

Yummy food and lovely to sit on the big back porch by the Greenbrier River, feed the ducks and take in the mountain air! Highly recommend!
