My Husband and I and my Daughter-in-law plus 3 grandkiddos. Ate at Greenleaf Cafe in Whittier. My D-in-law had a plate of Chile Relleno, and enchilada, rice and beans. I had mole cheese enchiladas w/rice and beans. My husband had an enchilada with a hard shell beef taco rice and beans. My grandson had chicken fingers and fries. My granddaughter had a soft taco of carne asada rice and beans. My third grandson is too young to eat solid foods. . We all agreed that the food was delicious, large portions. Even for the kiddos. I went to the Greenleaf Cafe for a late breakfast. I ordered eggs with tortillas, toast, verde sauce chorizo. The eggs were cooked exactly the way I requested (yolk not too runny yet not solid). They were perfecto. The tortillas, toast verde sauce were excellent too. The only item I found not to my liking was the chorizo. However, there are so many choices of chorizo on the market. One can not expect (in my opinion) to like every variety. I did eat it because it was good enough plus the service was so friendly and accommodating. I simply couldn 't justify complaining or sending anything back. I 'd go back without hesitation I certainly do recommend Greenleaf Cafe.
This restaurant offers delicious food, particularly the Chili Relleno Omelet. However, I can't say the same about the service. We visited on a Sunday for breakfast and noticed about 30 people waiting to be seated, despite 11 empty tables that were not being used. When we were finally seated, many tables still sat empty while more people continued to wait. We requested water twice but never received it, so my wife ended up going to the service counter to get it herself. The same issue occurred with our check. Although the food is fantastic, the poor service really detracts from the overall experience.
Located in uptown Whittier, on Greenleaf. The food was great, service was great, and attentive. We got the vegetarian omelet with home potatoes , pancakes, and chilaquiles with beans and potatoes . It was good, with good flavor, prices were reasonable. There’s a parking lot out back, unless you’re lucky enough to find parking on Greenleaf. Staff was friendly and inviting, plenty of places to eat your meal. We’ll be coming back again

My menudo was delicious until I found two hairs in it! Not just one, but two. The person preparing the dish might want to wear a hairnet. I also experienced poor service; I had to wait too long for water and coffee refills. They really need to hire more waitstaff.
Ordered take out breakfast chilaquiles and eggs (over easy), with potatoes. The best breakfast I had in a while. Potatoes were very satisfying not overly fried. Not sure how they make them, remind of French how they slice potatoes very thinly
The breakfast here is incredibly delicious, with a variety of options for everyone, especially if you enjoy Mexican or American cuisine.
You must go in there and have the Menudo it is the best. I actually said that In a nacho libre voice, ha ha ha.

Sat there almost 20 minutes, were given menus but no one ever came to take our order. Unfortunate.
