Staff very welcoming, and child friendly too. On arrival My daughter emptied a puddle from her puddle suit onto the floor, I was so mortified but the staff were really understanding! There were plenty of well labelled vegan options on the menu. I had a hot chocolate and a soup. The bread roll was warm too and delicious. Staff were very knowledgable about vegan options and provided me vegan chocolate on the side of my hot choc and also informed me (without prompting) the spread with the bread roll was vegan too. Would definitely come back. My daughter hd a milkshake and kids meal, the bill came to £18 something. I would love to go back and have the sticky toffee pudding or brownie, I just did...
I had a wonderful dining experience at this charming family-owned cafe. They had a variety of vegan options to choose from, including chili, quesadillas, sandwiches, toasties, soup, and more. I was delighted to find vegan cakes and alternative milks on the menu, as well as vegan mayo and coleslaw - a rare find in most restaurants. I enjoyed a delicious oat hot chocolate with dark chocolate buttons on the side, and the toasties and salad were incredibly tasty. The prices were reasonable, the location was convenient after a long walk, the service was excellent, and the food was top-notch. I give this cafe 5 stars!
This was a great find in Grasmere. The staff were friendly and helpful and communicated the flexible vegan options in a clear and reassuring manner. On the day both soups were vegan and it was possible to have vegan sandwiches and toasties, with lovely vegan coleslaw. The 'very veggie wrap ' was tasty and the variety of hummus options was a nice touch. Would recommend.
Headed here looking for some brunch. Wasn’t sure that Grasmere would have much to offer in the form of vegan options. How wrong I was! So many options, just a shame I didn’t have time to try them all. Sausage baguette with onion chutney done the treat! Will be coming back for some lunch soon.

I visited this wonderful cafe that offers numerous vegan options, particularly the scrumptious cakes. I enjoyed a delightful soup and roll, and was pleased with the vegan spread. The staff were always attentive and accommodating during my visits.
A cozy spot for vegans in the Lake District! Tried the vegan sausage roll which was great! It honestly felt more authentic than other vegan sausage rolls I’ve tried! A good place to stop for Vegan English food
So nice as a vegan to have a choice rather than just one option. Great and filling salad didn’t have room to try the cupcakes sadly.
The owners were very helpful in guiding us through the vegan menu options. The sandwich was absolutely delicious.
