We landed here after leaving another restaurant before ordering dinner due to an extremely bad experience. The hostess, while very busy due to being short staff was super friendly, pleasant and helpful. We waited for a bit for a seat at the bar and was greeted by friendliness from everyone who worked there. Which honestly was balm to a wound after the restaurant we had just come from. We started with 2 each of the 4 featured oysters- fantastic! We went to fried oysters- perfection! I got lobster risotto and I got a little lost on this dish and it was my fault for not reading the fine print. Really it 's 3 seared scallops on a lobster flavored risotto that had little bits of lobster meat in i...

Truly the best buck of shuck in Rhode Island! Every afternoon at the bar. Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar usually has four types of oysters available for purchase but they select the one to serve for the special today's was Rough Waters from Narragansett Bay. THEY WERE AMAZING!!!! And the guy shucking them was a total pro. First, he could shuck super fast. Second, the oysters were very clean (no little shell bits). Lastly, the oyster shells contained a ton of liquor. The bar is always full but it is worth the wait. Every time we go, we have lively discussions with the other bar patrons. Most are regulars like go every week regulars! So nice. The bartenders are fabulous. Most everyone at the bar was...

However, the limited space does mean that there isn't really anywhere to wait comfortably except out in the cold or crammed in the entrance. Now, onto the food! I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, which was absolutely delightful—full of flavor and very rich. We also had a massive Salmon Burger at our table (wow!). While I'm not a fan of raw oysters, the restaurant offers a buck-a-shuck deal at various times throughout the day, and the impressive display of oysters on ice behind the bar caught my eye. We finished the meal with a decadent piece of peanut butter pie, which left me satisfied and ready for an evening of music. I would definitely return to this spot, but I might opt for a quieter evenin...

I was taken here for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The wait time was excessively long. I have a background in food service and management, and two others in our group also work in hospitality. We waited an hour for drinks without any refills or even seeing our server. I really feel for the waiter, bartender, and busboy; the workload they had was clearly unrealistic. It was further exacerbated by the manager claiming that a party of five is considered large and that food is made fresh, which contributes to the delays. However, waiting over an hour just isn’t acceptable. We were not able to enjoy our evening and had to cancel other plans because... Reserva una mesa ahora

I always heard good things about this place, but never stopped. Large oyster selection. Beautiful beer and mixed drink menu. Surf and Turf were among the best meals I had for a long time. The scalops of my wife sat for perfection. The service was great. Only give 4 stars because not enough crabs in crab cake (although well seasoned) and the risotto was meh. Chef, eat your food! Recipes are not always up, no matter how good you are!

After our second visit on Sunday afternoon, we absolutely loved the Buck-a-shuck oysters—they were perfectly prepared. The martinis, garnished with cheesy olives, were fantastic. We also enjoyed the excellent salads, and the portion sizes were great. The service was exceptional. On our last visit, we had a baby in our group, and she was warmly welcomed. This restaurant has definitely secured a spot on our favorites list.

Absolutely fantastic! They have an amazing raw bar, an incredible selection of seafood, and the cocktails are outstanding. The portion sizes are generous as well. You really excel in what you do over there! The photo I took isn’t the largest, but it showcases the surf and turf along with the gnocchi.

We decided to celebrate this evening, and the main courses were fantastic, particularly the dessert. However, I have to give one star less because the crab cakes we ordered as an appetizer were a huge disappointment—mostly just breadcrumbs! I've had better crab cakes at chain restaurants. Very quaint restaurant with a very home like atmosphere. The food was excellent. Shawna the hostess was very accommodating. This restaurant only holds about 20 to 25 people. Service was quick so the turnover even if you have to wait is doable.
