We visited Gregorio's Trattoria for the first time for their Valentine's Day dinner over the weekend. We chose this place because of its high ratings and were able to easily make a reservation on OpenTable. The restaurant was very busy, so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes after arriving. The menu had a lot of options and we decided to start with the personal supreme pizza, which turned out to be bigger than expected and we couldn't finish it. My partner enjoyed the Pollo Francese, which was tender and not too heavy on the sauce. My lasagne reminded me of Italy, with a noticeable taste of calf. I visited this restaurant with my relatives who were in town from NYC. I've been to this location before with my son and his family, but I've never written a review. I've also dined at the Bethesda location, and I found both to be equally good. Two of us ordered the halibut special and really enjoyed how it was prepared. My wife went with the Chicken Francaise, which she ordered again because it was spectacular. I chose the pork chop from the menu (not a special), and it was excellent, paired perfectly with mushroom risotto and crispy fried onions. Another cousin had the salmon salad and raved about it. we ate there in the early Sunday afternoon, some tables had diners all sitting close together, despite many more open tables. service was fast though it seemed as if the server harried. worth was ok, pasta with sweet and a simple house salat for a total of $40. the meal was not unforgettable and not sure that I would return.
Great selection of Italian cuisine and portions are very generous. Dishes can be a hit or miss though, eg the ravioli with rose sauce was excellent while linguine vongole tasted like sea water and was lacking in seasoning. Tiramisu was fantastic, one of the best I've had!

Food and service were excellent. Price point was a tad high for a pizzeria atmosphere. Also, there wasn’t A/C in august. Which made it a bit uncomfortable.
The food was fabulous as always. The chicken marsala was outstanding and a large enough serving for two or three meals. Gregario's is always a hit!
The food is delicious, the bakery is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. Donald is very attentive to his customers' needs.
