A gem. Will definitely stay here again. Looks very basic from outside but rooms are so clean and comfortable. The food in restaurant was very tasty and very reasonable price It is owned by a father and daughter team. The service is excellent! These people deserve the hotel to be a success. I’m embarrassed to say my French is appalling but the owners were very patient with us in explaining menu etc. It is a short way outside of Travers (approx 1.5km? but this suited us well. The road is busy though so it might be a good idea to ask for a room facing the back (which we had . It is dog friendly which was great for us.

Schon die Reservation und der E-Mailverkehr im Vorfeld war sehr professionell und sehr zuvorkommend. Alles ist sehr unkompliziert abgelaufen, man hat uns fast jeden möglichen Wunsch erfüllt....Transport vom und zum Bahnhof...wenn nötig usw.Das Ambiente war gemütlich, die Zimmer einfach, aber sauber. Jedes Zimmer hat Lavabo, Douche und WC im Zimmer. Das Essen war sehr gut, Preis- und Leistung haben für uns (9 Frauen) vollkommen gestimmt. Sehr guter Service, herzlich und zuvorkommend.
The restaurant runs in 'steakhouse ' style so has a good selection of meats but fish is also available. On some days, the food is cooked in front of your eyes on the giant barbeque within the restaurant. If you get a table near the window there are very pleasant views over the valley. A good choice of wines, excellent service and nothing was too much trouble.
