Any port in a storm as the saying goes, however, this port was both warm and welcoming. Perhaps it was the sight of the fire used to cook the food which added to the ambience. Our request to change tables was promptly carried out in a courteous manner. I chose to have their pate de campagne starter which was adequate, but nothing special. My wife chose an entrecoat steak and I chose a marinated steak. Both of which were served as requested and were quite flavoursome. Customers will be pleased to note that the menu has a photographic reference to how steaks are cooked, which will help to describe your choice. Clean restaurant and welcoming staff. Our French is poor and the waitress didn't speak English so we muddled through ordering getting everything we had expected except I couldn't understand why we couldn't have the special menu despite it seemingly being available on a Thursday evening, no real matter as it's our fault we don't speak French well enough! We stayed at the nearby Novotel and walked to the restaurant (less than 10 minutes). Food was average for the price.
small return to a place we loved, especially in the summer terrace obliges. nothing to do with the resto that the least knew not, the main heat of the hehihihihihicharacteristics. the chimney but especially the staff reception. The map is in the air of time. but a few good dishes than a lot of crazy things, huh? In a party of 8 dining in the evening. Mostly offered meat dishes, but had a good variety on the menu. Most meat was offered off the grill, which was the centerpiece of the restaurant, but it seemed that you got you meat cooked the way the busy waitress wanted, and not you! Shame really, as the burger I had was very good.

A 10 minute walk from the Roi Soleil hotel. We had a set 2 course meal, with a 50cl pichet of red wine. Our steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were very understanding of our lack of French, and helped us to find our way around the offers menu. A warm night, so we ate outside. Thoroughly recommend
We were in Rixheim for an overnight stay and wanted a restaurant that served quality food. Courtepaille is friendly and good value for money, both my partner and I really enjoyed our food and the service was both fast and friendly. Definitely worth visiting, highly recommend.
This restaurnt is near to the ibis hotel and serves mainly grilled meat. quality is very good although the prices are not cheap. The waiter recommends the most expensive choice but all the others are also good
