It took approximately 45 minutes from placing our order to receiving our food. Another couple who had arrived before us to pick up take-out food received their order 10 minutes after us. None of the employees were wearing hair nets and were seen chewing gum while preparing food. One employee was moving between the register, food preparation areas, and handling trash without wearing gloves. This is completely unacceptable. After the wait, the fries were not even hot and the sandwich, although tasty, was dry.
I have been a loyal customer of Grilled Cheese and Co since 2010. I absolutely adore this place. Every visit has been delightful, as long as you understand that it's a no-frills kind of establishment, as the name suggests. They serve delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with various fillings. It's a cozy, communal spot that I have brought many friends to, and we have always had a great time enjoying our meals. Keep up the fantastic work!
As of 2024, the previous review still stands. Additionally, as of 2021, the same review still applies. In 2018, I had the grilled cheese and it exceeded my expectations. I have visited multiple times and have always been pleased with the food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed, so don't rush through your meal; the wait is well worth it.
I have always loved this place as simple and good. But they have had to raise the prices which I understand however what used to be 25 minutes is over an hour now with very few other customers

Best grilled cheese EVER! We went on a busy Saturday night and the crew did a great job of getting our food out quickly. The sandwiches were delicious and creative. I can’t wait to go back!
The food is pretty good, but the prep time is kind of excessive. If you place an order online, assume it won't be ready for 10-20 minutes beyond their estimate.
I was having a bad day today, and the 3 wonderful employees made my day the employees are empathetic, understanding, and hard working. Keep up the good work.
I craved grilled cheese for my birthday, and my dad found this. Such an awesome place, I wish there were more! Best grilled cheese around!
