I hate to rate this restaurant "terrible" because the food itself was actually among the best we have had in the region, but our experience with one of the waitstaff, who probably is also the owner or manager of the place was so unpleasant that I feel I should warn non-locals to stay away unless they are fluent in German and do not mind being yelled at by someone who should be welcoming them. The place is homey, if a little dated-looking, decorated with orchids at various stages of decomposition and bad paintings. It was not the first time we went to eat at Grimming Wurzn but it was for lunch and since the event was memorable, and to be repeated, I want to share it.We had arrive in Bad Mitterndorf the day before and were looking for a place to have lunch at.Wurzn opens at 11am and serves lunch up to 2pm.We arrived around 12 o'clock and while we were seated I counted 4 occupied tables; by the time we left approximately half of all tables (18 or so) had been occupied.We ordered the set lunch menu and while my wife chose the fish main course, I opted for the meat dish. this should be the best food in the region and fits perfect for families and for business. luch is extremly cheap and really good. dinner is so lovely but has its price.it is not like the other restaurants around just for fast food, no they have the real slow food to enjoy the full evening.and they have the large selection of nice wine too.

The restaurant is for sale and this is noticable. Quality is still good but i am missing the spirit. Menu has not changed for years and could be better.

Very Moody staff. But the food was okay. The restaurant is opened on thursday till monday from 18 till 22.
