The lunch was a buffet-style fajita meal featuring beef, chicken, and grilled shrimp, along with a variety of side dishes. My personal favorites were the grilled shrimp and their roasted beans, which rank among the best I’ve had at Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. Even though it was a buffet, the servers were attentive, consistently checking on guests for drink refills, chips and salsa, and clearing plates. I had been in this room a few months ago, and this time the guest of honor brought along a loudspeaker sound system, adding a nice touch to the event. Overall, this is a lovely venue for small gatherings, and it should definitely be on your list for your next party.
We experienced quite a large group of at least 24 people gathered around our table, celebrating someone's 90th birthday. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and struggled to serve all the guests, which resulted in a long wait for our food. Unfortunately, the venue isn't designed to accommodate such large parties, making the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the booth we were seated in had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience. Service: Dine-in; Meal type: Dinner.
But then, both J.D. and Marianna came over to speak with me and sincerely apologized for the problem with my food. Their concern and kindness made a big difference, showing that they genuinely cared about the situation. This kind of attention goes a long way in retaining customers. J.D. personally redesigned my order and brought it to the table himself. I truly appreciate their understanding and excellent customer service. Thank you, J.D. and Marianna!
Flavor: A Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: A The green sauce here is amazing. I could drink it. But it’s probably better on chips. My cheese enchiladas were great as well along with the other items on my combo plate. Service wasn’t top notch in the bar area but I consumed enough green sauce to forgive that. Our entire family enjoyed this restaurant. The food was great, and our waiter provided excellent service. The portion sizes were quite large, so be prepared for that. They also offer the thinner chips that I prefer. The margarita was a bit light, but that didn’t bother me. We would definitely return!
