Grizzly (formerly Offworld)

We were attracted to this bar/restaurant because of its Canadian theme, and it certainly did not disappoint in terms of decor, food, and drinks featuring Canadian ingredients. As you enter, you ascend the stairs to the sound of the National Anthem. The bar on your right resembles an iceberg, and the canoes hanging from the ceiling add a unique touch. The shuffleboard tables and mini curling rinks perfectly embody Canadian culture. We opted to sit outside, where, unfortunately, the Canadian theme was missing, but it was a lovely summer day—perfect for enjoying the patio. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I particularly loved the themed drinks, especially the Calgary Flame....

A fantastic Canadian-themed bar! They offer a great variety of Canadian beers, both popular and craft. The Canadian-inspired cocktails are a highlight, and the TVO Kids drink was exceptional! The food was also impressive; I tried the poutine topped with Montreal smoked meat. The second-level patio is a lovely added feature. The staff were friendly, and the service was prompt. I visited Grizzly for lunch and couldn't find any faults with the service or the food. However, the bar lacked the extra charm I expected based on the website, though I imagine it gets livelier on certain nights. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 3. Dine-in meal type: Lunch, Price per person: $100+.
