The enchiladas with the Verde sauce are absolutely amazing. The green sauce is spicy, but not overwhelmingly hot—just the right amount of kick. On the table, there's an extra green sauce that is quite spicy, but it's still very tasty.
I ordered the platter with five cheese enchiladas and requested onions. It came topped with white cheese and a small salad of green lettuce and avocado slices. The platter was priced at around $15, which might seem a bit high, but I couldn't finish the whole meal. My brother ordered the burrito platter, which came with beans and rice, and it was massive as well.
Including two plates, one beer, and a Jarritos soft drink, our total came to about $50.
The rice was very bland, and the beans were just average. The chimichanga was decent; it was flavorful and moist, which was a plus. However, the salsa was lacking, resembling thin tomato water and not making much of an impression. On the positive side, the meal was quite affordable for a DoorDash order.
This place is a typical Mexican market with a restaurant inside. The prices are reasonable, the meat is excellent, and the overall value is great. The restaurant's tables and chairs are quite attractive, and the food is delicious.
You want authentic tacos, sopes, tortas or the BEST horchata ever? Come here! My go to place since I moved to the area 4 years ago. Would still come here I moved far away!
