Because we had to interrupt our Frankteich vacation a week early on June 15, 2023 due to a defective rental camper, we just wanted to be pampered after a strenuous return journey. Best with a delicious dinner under the cooling trees. We spontaneously thought of the Pöstli and were not disappointed! The food was amazing!!! On every single request (gluten free, prefer knöpfli instead of potatoes, prefer vegetables as a side dish, mixed salad instead of green, etc. The rump steak was perfect and extremely tender, the fried onions were crispy and tasty. We were looking forward to the opening with hope because the previous owner told us what delicacies would be waiting for us in the future. Expectations were exceeded. So first of all the name Pöstli says it all, that's what it used to be called and I think it's quaint and traditional to revive the old name, my mom celebrates it that way. The food was excellent and the staff was also very nice. A clear recommendation for anyone traveling in Zurich or near Basserndorf.

Simply top: super nice atmosphere, the service is friendly at eye level, you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. And first of all the food, the flavors of the dishes are simply great, you feel the need to keep eating even though you are already full. The portions are large and the price is simply worth it.

The service was absolutely top, the waiter was on point and served us quickly and attentively. The food was delicious, we all had different dishes and everyone was completely satisfied. I could have fallen for the sauce. You can taste that the kitchen knows its job. You will definitely see us again!!!!
