Grotto Sbardella - Reserva de mesa

in advance; this is a beautiful grotto with food of very good quality. The price-performance ratio before the main dishes is therefore ok. However, the overall package is not coherent. The price of CHF 9.50 for one litre of mineral water is a break for a grotto. With a consumption of six people over CHF 420. not even a free Limoncello or Grappa is given. When you order one of the house brand, you are also quite amazed with the account. Simple and family-friendly place. Nice and tasty dishes. However, the bitter taste in the mouth was left by the bill, which was decidedly high for what was consumed. The risk of having a surprise at the end of the dinner is always present when you order dishes not shown on the menu with the price list, but I think that 48 francs for a goat dish was really in bad taste. Even in light of the 73 francs required for the entire menu with two starters, two desserts and coffee. In the end we still spent 72 francs each, but without the consumption of trout, dove and coffee Bitter.

What a surprise! We loved the food, the roast beef was great, it was cut thin with a delicious sauce. The fillet mignon was cooked for perfection very rarely as I requested. The waiters were very friendly and nice with my children. They even gave them free gelatos that were the best gelatos I ever tasted! Try them strawberry and cream flavor.

Nice place, quite empty on an early Saturday evening in late October (we were alone, only after 8:00 some people came). Kid portion was huge and delicious, our risotto with mushrooms was delicious and very elegant plated. Local wine was fine. I'm sure it must be amazing in summer because the garden looks beautiful. Great evening sitting outside and our meals were excellent the warm roast beef melted in my mouth. Service was perfect too. We'd definitely return!
