I have my mother in the law 90. birthday party here 15 guests plus young dog booked. we were so blessed by sitting in the gallery where it is easy to get into the garden. such stunning landscape and great for photos. we enjoyed glorious weather for our special day and ingenious eating, tasted so delicious and mouthful good each of us was so special and welcome. I can't thank vicki david enough. we are so grateful

Went on Sunday for lunch. Two courses and coffee £23. The menu was fabulous....could have chosen everything! Opted for the roast beef which was tender and delicious. If the weather is fine you can sit in the garden overlooking the fishing ponds. Outside is ready for a lick of paint, but otherwise perfect.

A character full, cosy, charming local place. Friendly service, nice views and good food. We enjoyed our roast beef and will return!

Food was excellent,the smoked trout starter was huge.Everyone enjoyed the meal and the staff were a delight
