we walked the simple 1.5 km to the restaurant (from the road to served). there was a beautiful view of the small church and the surrounding mountains, so we had to stop some paintings on photos. there was another walk. the mountain that we could have done, but we were hungry, so we stopped at the gruenegg alm and sat at one of the outside tables in the sun. we ordered food and drinks and enjoyed the sunshine and the hope. we saw the birds and the goats and our dog ran around playing with the gruenegg dog. bliss! we liked it so much, we returned every day for the rest of our stay in served. eating in the gruenegg alm is absolutely beautiful, and they offer some vegetarian options that are not...
This is a fun place to hike to (we came over the Gabuehel, but it 's closer from Dienten) and to admire their distillery and try some of their (exotic) liquors. The son starting helping in the distillery at age 6 and started his own brews ...at age 10. With 15 he won two awards for his creations and overall their family of liquors won over 25 awards over the course of the last 10 years. The Austrian food we tried was also excellent and they offer nice, shady seating right along their farmhouse. You can tell how proud the family is for all the international recognition and all of their liquors are for sale a fun place to visit if you are in the area.
Traumhafter Ausflug zur Grünegg Alm bei herrlichem Wetter: blauer Himmel mit fantastischem Ausblick auf die Berge. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ganz besonders leckere Süßspeisen. Kaiserschmarrn, Quarkstrudel, Mohr im Hemd und Eispalatschinken hatten wir bei unseren insgesamt 3 Besuchen. Almgröstl und Würstel mit Sauerkraut waren auch sehr gut. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen. Die Rodelstrecke kann mit Leihrodeln oder mit eigenen Rodeln benutzt werden. Die Rodelstrecke ist es einfach zu befahren. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
Wir sind dieses Jahr das 44. Mal in Dienten gewesen, und zwar sowohl im Winter als auch im Herbst. Mal waren es auch ein paar Tage im Sommer und einmal über Weihnachten. Dienten und hier die Gegend um und an der Jausenstation sind unbeschreiblich schön. Man kann es nicht in Worte fassen. Einmal Dienten, einmal Grünegg, dann immer wieder. Phantastisch ist neben dem Schnapserl auch das Essen, vor allem die selbst geräucherten Forellen mit Bratkartoffeln - muss man gegessen haben. Besucht doch auch einmal diese schöne Jausenstation. the hotel is located 30 minutes to walk on the hill from the beautiful village, this is a beautiful trip. in winter they can bring back a sled and rodel track after a meal and a schnapps! they are on their homemade. schnapps and have a lot of many flavors to choose. they also produce their own gin! eating, is a good quality to home cooked fare. we loved the pork (roasch wine)! popular among the natives, that is not to miss!
Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir Grünegg mindestens einmal pro Urlaub! Immer wieder ist es einer der nettesten Abende. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön geworden, die Schnapsbrennerei ist ein echter Hingucker, die Familie ist extrem nett, das Essen ist einfach aber gut. (es gibt keine Pommes, was ich extrem gut finde) Die Rodelbahn ist sehr gut präparier und schön beleuchtet, die Rodeln sind durchwegs neu! Wirklich schön!
