Ansich good inn. He's been in the years. The guest room is very crowded. Breakfast for 6€ also ok. The rooms are clean, but also very old. The bathroom was also clean, but very tight. (The door of the shower hit the sink quite quickly when opening. So Korpulent was not allowed to be for the bathroom. The boss is very nice and cooks very well. However, please, at our group of 10 people came to decide at most for three dishes, or where to go other eat. Unfortunately, the lady of the house seemed somewhat overwhelmed and calculated us for an aperol slapping 7,50€. And we sat every three evenings at least four hours in the inn and drank not only one... Was for a visit to order, but no more time

That's why 5 stars anyway. The house has a historical cosiness. Which is emphasized by the hosts through their personal style. In the evening the restaurant is open at least for hotel guests. With down-to-earth dishes. The breakfast is relatively simple, but is enhanced by the question every morning about which egg dish you would like. I had a nice big room with living room, bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Overall, you feel like you're in a comfortable, family setting.
Family business with high quality and freshly cooked dishes. Franconian hosts rooms ambience where you sit comfortably and eat excellent in a good selection of wines: from basics of German cuisine to wild or vegetarian dishes, there is something seasonal for everyone. And the homemade desserts are an absolute palate! My secret tip: Bavarian cream. But beware: who wants fast food is wrong here, fresh food needs its time. Always happy!
Inconspicuous inn with excellent cuisine! We came here by chance because the pizzeria had closed at the castle Weißenfels.
