Knowing I could walk from Schaffhausen to Neuhausen am Rheinfall, I decided to make a trip to the family run Restaurant CM Brauhaus as I read they brew their own beer, and felt it might be an interesting place to see. I kind of messed up as the walk, which I had done many times before, was longer than I had remembered. So in actual fact I only made it to one bar for the trip due to this excessive trip. The food is better in a canteen. I ate there last fall and it was absolutely inedible. As I walked through the self-service area, I lost my appetite. My companion had to grab something to eat because she had to go back to work. I tried from her. The rice was completely overcooked, the vegetables were practically raw and the meat was absolutely inedible. I brought the plate back and demanded a refund. This was done without comment.

We had a really nice visit back in February. The food was great and I absolutely loved the smoked whiskey beer! Definitely recommend.
