This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of St. Petersburg Tampa Bay! El sabor mas chingon!! Don 't let the name fool you, this is a traditional Mexican restaurant with all of the dishes you want. I have been here over a dozen times over the years and I 'm never disappointed. As a native of Mexico, this is my go-to destination for tacos, tortas and birria!! Lemme tell you, the tacos are amazing, I 've tried all of them, even the lengua is super delicious, they are all great quality meats/protein and are very well served. It's a tiny place tucked away but busy and serves great food. There are a fleet of people working behind the counter and they are quick with the order. We had the guac and chips, and the guac was great. Chips were fine. Then had street tacos, California burrito, and taco salad which were all good. The salsas that you can serve yourself are also good, though they were running low on almost all of them. The tables were a little dirty and sticky but otherwise a good dinner.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is excellent. I tried the steak street taco, and it was delicious. My husband shared his chicken chimichanga with me, and it was fantastic. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating on either side of the bar area. It was relatively clean, and as someone who is quite particular, I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

No frills taco spot. Everything was really tasty and priced well. We were looking for a fast lunch and this hit the spot. I ordered direct from the menu but the lady behind the register looked at me like I had two heads. Overall I would definitely go back. The restaurant was incredibly busy, so I anticipated a great meal, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. My burrito lacked flavor, and when I ordered churros, the ones I received were disappointing. I can't understand how they looked at those churros and thought it was acceptable to serve them. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

Stopped in for lunch for a couple friends of mine, the flautas we're perfect for me! The complaint from my friend was that her burrito had VERY little cheese (which is an issue I've never run into because I've eaten here several times). But I'll keep coming back, not sure if my friend will

Wow, what an incredible experience! The food was amazing, especially the queso, which was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was fantastic as well. I devoured that burrito like it was nothing! Definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

Delicious tacos and good prices too! I had cochinita pibil, Al pastor and chicken. I didn't like the chicken as much, but the other two are highly recommended! ‍
