A lot better than expected was 5 feet away from an Offensive tackle hall of famer for the Rams from the 70s era... I forgot his name but definitely was him, the waitress told us, confirmed it with my dad Alexa . Anyway, our bartender/ server was great. She had a full restaurant/ bar, we sat at the bar my gf I were attended to very well timely. Good food as well. The decor is a set back a lil dark inside, inside of a not so great hotel, but there for the food quality, service, etc. I would've given a 5 if it wasn't for those things I mentioned.
Great local bar. I stayed at a nearby hotel for three nights, and on two of those nights, the police were called, with at least four police cars responding each time. On the third night, which was a Sunday, they were closed; otherwise, I have no doubt they would have had a third visit from the police. Service rating: 4/5. Atmosphere rating: 3/5.
I had an amazing salmon stuffed with crab meat—what a delight! It was incredibly delicious. The reaction from the bar when I finished it all was almost as rewarding as the dish itself. The bartenders are friendly and really look after their regulars. We absolutely love Grumpy's!
