Grumpy's Cafe - Reservar una mesa

As someone who is still not completely comfortable with eating indoors, I continue to support the small businesses that I love. Grumpy's is a fantastic breakfast spot located in the heart of Rockaway Beach. We decided to get our food to go so that we could enjoy it with a view of the beach from our hotel. We ordered the chicken fried steak and a bacon omelette, creating a mini sampler for the wife and I to enjoy. Everything was delicious, especially the huge cinnamon roll which paired perfectly with our morning coffee. Highly recommend giving Grumpy's a try!

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Poor customer service, a very long wait. When we finally got all of our food it was cold and the biscuits were hard. They said They lost my husbands meal but found it five minutes later in the microwave . No joke . We are pretty easy going when it comes to eating in resturants, but this was by far the worst time. We recently moved to rockaway and I will never eat there again.

Sitting on Saturday morning, but the place wasn't too busy. It took 20 minutes to pick up our order. I order cookies and Gravy. The cookies were so hard that they could not be cut with a knife. Another long wait for the check, finally went to the counter and picked him himself.

I arrived at the restaurant an hour before lunch. It was a bit crowded and it took a while for our food to come out. However, the wait was worth it for the freshly cooked hash browns and bacon.
