My Husband took me out for Lunch, at GT Mobay or GT Kingston. It been a while, since I had the oxtail, pea rice, man I am so glad I did, I was a delight to my taste buds after, eating my home cooking for so long. Not forgetting Sunita the bartender made me a mad cool Virgin Pina Colada. So next time you're looking for a cozy atmosphere to have Lunch or Dinner drop in GT Kingston and ask for Sunita, she will hook you up.
I ordered fry chicken and white rice plain and simple as that. Never in my wildest dream did I ever thought I was going to get some chicken that I could use as stone. The chicken was so hard I just tossed it away because there was no way my teeth could bite this, not to mention the rice. I will never order again.
Great place overall, but they could improve the music selection. As a Caribbean bar, I was hoping for a mix of multicultural music, but the current vibes are lacking. It seems to stick to one type of music all the time, which can be dull.
Omg their food is absolutely awesome! The BBQ is the best I've eaten thus far in NYC! Real Guyanese style! Their chowmein and cha chi kai chicken is really delicious. Prices are really affordable and great location.Food: 5/5 Reserva una mesa ahora
If you're looking to have a fun night with your man or your friends, this is the place to be, there's good food good music and the people in there are friendly and pleasant.
The fried rice could use some improvement. It basically tastes like egg and rice fried together. I would rate it a 4 out of 10.
