Went here for the first time and the food is outstanding. Also my first time having Salvadorian food and it's definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle, now. Cute, low-key atmosphere, easy to hold a conversation, super friendly staff, and the food is really good.Great spot for a date if you're also going to a show at the Neptune Theater or somewhere else near the Ave. They have about 8-10 tables and the food is fairly quick to come out. Very big menu that is flexible for vegetarian, vegan, and I think gluten free as well.

For customers ordering takeout, it is important to note that the serving sizes at this restaurant are very small. We ordered a dish of tacos for $7.75, but it only included a single street taco. The same was true for their traditional Salvadoran platters. Even the side dishes, such as the rice, were served in a portion the size of a sauce cup. While the food itself was decent, the fact that we paid $48 for a meal that was only sufficient for one person was disappointing.

Sadly, as wonderful as the folks working here are, the place is infested with cockroaches and in desperate need of an exterminator. When I stopped by, there were adult and nymph roaches climbing the walls in broad daylight. Probably would help if they got rid of all the empty boxes and other clutter the roaches are likely living behind. All in all, as gracious as the staff was and much as I love pupusas and Salvadorian food, this place is not recommended.

Super yummy! I had two pupusas and I really recommend the nopal, cheese, and spinach combo. Compared to the UDistrict farmer's market stand (which is a different restaurant), the pupusas here have better filling options, but the masa flavor in the pupupas is not as strong. Vegetarian options: There are a good amount of vegetarian and vegan options here. As a vegetarian, I would recommend this spot! Reserva una mesa ahora

I ordered an appetizer and additional dishes at the restaurant. However, when the appetizer arrived, it was not the same as listed on the menu. I wish the server had informed me about the discrepancy so I could have decided whether or not to keep it. The restaurant offers vegetarian options on their menu, as well as a kid-friendly menu for children.

No frills, you pays your money and you get your mind blowingly authentic Salvadoran home cooking. The stuffed fried plantain included with the pupusa plate is a life-changing sensory experience.Buñuelos en miel made from yucca, wonderful.

So good!! Amazing place for authentic pupusas. We had a craving and stumbled across this place, and it did not disappoint. Around $5/pupusa so not bad price wise either. Will definitely be back! Reserva una mesa ahora

I would give zero stars if I could. The customer service was very rude. I ordered a steak bowl and they only gave me 3 pieces of steak and added in chicken and pork without informing me.
