So we went to the restaurant with some friends the other day. I dropped my partner and her friend at the entrance until I parked since there is no parking in front of the restaurant and one of them is pregnant. It took me a total of 19 minutes to park the car and het back to the restaurant during those 10 minutes the waiter went twice to ask them if they'd like something to drink and although they initially replied that they were waiting for their partners he sent the manager out the bar to ask them in a more intimidating way and so they ordered water. I chose the guildhall for my SPECIAL birthday so this review is on the whole process, From the start it was a pleasure meeting with the staff and chef to discuss which food and wine I wanted to be served what an amazing knowledge of wine and food they had and the choosing of everything was a lovely experience, In the run up to the party the communication between myself and the staff was amazing every detail had been thought off and nothing had been left to chance , The lunch itself was FABULOUS all 3 course looked like art on a plate all local sourced and fish caught fresh that morning ! Most excellent food, full of flavour, textures and colours. The sauce that came with scallops was amazing, and the scallops themselves were juicy and bursting with flavour. Whitebait and its sauce were the best combination I have ever tried. The fish soup was sooo good and the piece of bread with sesame seeds that came with it was amazing (we asked for the second one). The chocolate fondant dessert with honey ice-cream was a delicious cherry on top. Thank you for a very friendly and quick service!

Elegant and stylish restaurant, the staff is very professional and friendly. All dishes were succulent and well presented. Very fresh ingredients, deliciously well combined and the finest selection of wine, enhanced the whole meal. One of the best fine dining experience I've ever had. Excellent overall, we will definitely come back again!

Beautiful place to be, the atmosphere is very relaxed but still chic. The staff are very professional and friendly and know their dishes very well. The experience from eating there is one I will look forward to repeating soon. The service is outstanding. I recommend a visit for anyone looking to enjoy the very best in fine dining x

I wish I liked it more. It was busy and seemed popular. But the menu choices and taste wasn't for me and I was disappointed. The seabass was bland and it didn't work with paella for me personally. My husband didn't love his meal either. I love fish and often order it when I eat out.

This has been an incredible experience of a meal. The collective experience of wine to food, to setting, location of course the service made this one of the best meals myself my wife have eaten in the UK. A huge thank you to everyone working that made this night so special

Ok, soooo, this place is T O P! We had an amazing time, with AMAZING food and amazing overall everything. Definitely a place to be tried out in Poole will come back again. Thank you George for being a brilliant host

Very delicious food. Tried oysters, scallops and seabream here. All of them were absolutely del8cious. nice atmosphere and service.

Delicious food. A must...Mussels, scallops, Place, Lobster. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Just perfect!
