Such a delight to discover this totally understated gem of a water front location in the most under exploited corner of France. Think typical erstwhile relaxed St Trop or Caribbean non fussy authenticity. Excellent service (English/Dutch speaking) and cuisine.Well priced enough to then splash out on the wine and champagne and the wine list is also very reasonably priced. Go with any fish selection brought in by Gladys, the well read fishmonger, and book well ahead. Nice place on the edge of the cornice. the bar/game side has been well developed this year with many spaces to settle comfortably. He also avoids getting fired from the restaurant tables, as last year, at lunchtime, it was unpleasant. restaurant side, simple but good value for money with fresh and seasonal products. we will return (if the reservation period allows.)

This lovely guinguette sits by the banks of the Loire and provides lovely views. Food is casual dining, including a very good vegetarian burger, with friendly and attentive service. One section is for drinks only, while the terrace is for diners. It feels like an undiscovered gem and we would highly recommend.

We spent a lovely afternoon with some drinks admiring the view, and playing petanque... for dinner, the menu was full is fresh product! Definitely need to try the poisson de la criee. Best wishes for the team!

Beautiful place on the banks of the Loire, small meal with eels of the Loire. Nice smiling staff. Don't forget to book!!!
