My family was thrilled to go to Guppy’s when we passed by the restaurant on our vacation and it was packed. We dined at the restaurant for dinner, and the reviews were right the food was excellent! The scallops, salmon, and shrimp were fabulous. Our waiter, Paul, was fantastic as well. On the other hand, the hostess, named Star, was extremely rude and condescending to my family and other guests as well. I have eaten at multiple places this week at Indian Rocks Beach, this by far is my least favorite. They are supposed to be known for the freshest seafood , I had the fish -n- chips, the breading was soggy. What a disappointment. All around great place to eat and great service. I just wish the staff would enforce tables to lower their voices. Someone’s voice can carry loudly in that place. Makes it hard to have a nice quiet meal when the tables behind you are screaming. Other than that, place was great and food was on point.
Excellent crab cake! Among the best I've had! Shrimp tacos were also excellent. Server was attentive and stopped by the table often to offer anything we might need. Food was served quickly and hot. We ate indoors after being in the heat for a while and the temperature was cooling and refeshing.

This restaurant is not worth your time or money. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place. The most frustrating part is that I wasted my valuable time writing this review.
Ellen made our evening unforgettable! The service was outstanding, and her recommendations were spot on. The NY Strip was absolutely amazing, and I loved her wine suggestions. This is definitely my favorite restaurant!
Ellen is the best bartender and so personable we absolutely love going to the bar because of her! Most enjoyable experience as always. food is amazing and always a good experience.
