My family was thrilled to go to Guppy’s when we passed by the restaurant on our vacation and it was packed. We dined at the restaurant for dinner, and the reviews were right the food was excellent! The scallops, salmon, and shrimp were fabulous. Our waiter, Paul, was fantastic as well. On the other hand, the hostess, named Star, was extremely rude and condescending to my family and other guests as well. For our reservation, we planned to dine outside, but it was a stormy/rainy day so we asked Star if there were any tables available inside in which she replied with a snarky attitude about how we would have to wait an hour. I have eaten at multiple places this week at Indian Rocks Beach, this by far is my least favorite. They are supposed to be known for the freshest seafood , I had the fish -n- chips, the breading was soggy. What a disappointment. The staff was not at all friendly and the atmosphere is below average. They do offer an early bird special. Over all I given them a

All around great place to eat and great service. I just wish the staff would enforce tables to lower their voices. Someone’s voice can carry loudly in that place. Makes it hard to have a nice quiet meal when the tables behind you are screaming. Other than that, place was great and food was on point. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent crab cake! Among the best I've had! Shrimp tacos were also excellent. Server was attentive and stopped by the table often to offer anything we might need. Food was served quickly and hot. We ate indoors after being in the heat for a while and the temperature was cooling and refeshing.

Service 0/10 Food 1/10 (way overpriced chefs can’t cook) This place isn’t even an experience. Do yourself a favor and skip it for something else. The part I’m most annoyed about is having to lose my precious time writing this review.

Ellen is the best bartender! She's incredibly personable, and we absolutely love visiting the bar because of her. Our experiences there are always enjoyable. The food is fantastic, and we consistently have a great time.
