Gurkha Curry Nights

Our first visit to Gurkha Curry Nights for lunch today. Dila Gautam gave us a friendly welcome and showed us to our table. We had Popadum pickles tray while waiting for our orders to be prepared. My wife had Meat Momo dumplings to start followed by Chicken Rum Rum with a Peshwari Naan, and enjoyed both. I started with a Prawn Puri, then Gurkhali Mixed Kadahi with Pilau rice. Delicious! We shared a Kulfi ice cream to finish. We'd recommend any or all fo the dishes we had! Service was prompt and attentive to check we were happy with the dishes we'd ordered. Hope to be back whenever we're in the area!

The food was disgusting. The starter was extremely salty that we had to throw it. The curry was salty, water and not like a bhuna at all, also went in the bin. The nan bread had a horrible taste. Also in the bin a wast of over £36. We had to get food from else where, which was more money. I Tried to request a refund off just eat, before leaving a review and they are not interested. Over very unsatisfied and highly disappointed

We ordered a takeaway, three meals (two with rice four poppadoms and two garlic nann came to £42 : Food tasted great, although I do feel my Madras could have done with more meat. Very tasty and great service, I would actually like to dine in here as it does look nice when I came in to collect my order. 16/7/24 still wish there was more meat on our return.

Lovely food. I really recommend it. The only downside is the wait time for dishes. The restaurant was nearly empty, I think there was just 1 more table and yet we waited 15-20 minutes between starter and main. Reserva una mesa ahora

Worst curry iv ever had. Sauce like water and no spice absolutely shocking hardly any meat. Don't know how you stay open with that. I'll be reporting this

Mouth-watery dishes and excellent service from friendly staff. Tandoori chicken was a blast, and the ambience was warm and cozy.
