Had a brilliant take away when collecting our meal on Friday night. Really good food and an interesting, varied menu with a nice blend of spices without blowing your head off. I had the squid and house special (king prawns, lamb chicken) which came with big pieces of meat and tasted great. My wife had vegetable samosas (generously sized) and butter chicken, which came with a gorgeous thick sauce. The garlic rice too was really tasty. The food was mediocre and expensive for what it is, but the main reason it's 3 stars is because our wait time was so long. We got in just after 6 and didn't leave until after 8. There were only 2 other tables when we arrived, two tables left and another came, so how was it so slow? The poppadoms and dips were nice and my starter was as well, but I didn't really like my main and the menu didn't really explain any of the dishes or what was in them. For the price and the fact I've had nicer Nepalese/Indian food elsewhere, I wouldn't go back.
Food was good, would probably deserve a 4 star rating, however the wait for our food was 1 hour for starters and then an extra hour and a half for mains, we got in at 7 and didn’t eat our mains until 9:30. It seemed it wasn’t just ourselves with the problem as many other tables complained and a table near us left after starters due to the wait time.
The food was ok , looked better then it tasted but it wasn't bad. The wait for food was surprisingly longer than expected considering how empty it was inside. Overall I probably wouldn't go back again as although the food was ok and looked lovely it was slightly lacking in flavour in my opinion.

Very nice restaurant, have to say Gurkha ones are becoming my favourite as I haven't had a bad one yet and this was definitely 10/10. Nice decor and atmosphere, very friendly staff and food tasted amazing. I had the Himalayan chicken and my work mate had the chicken biryani. Both liked it
The four of us have just visited Gurkha Dining, had a good meal which consisted of three dosas and the mixed grill. The food was tasty and fresh, the staff were polite and friendly. Ended up paying roughly £20 a head including drinks. Restaurant has free WiFi.
Very authentic Gurkha crusine. Would highly recommend for both quality of ingredients and down to earth nature of the staff. They were very happy to recommend traditional dishes and they were very enjoyable. Would definitely return. 5/5
Have ordered from here a few times and really enjoyed my meal each time which has arrived on time and hot. The large portion size also means I'm able to eat it across two meals making it really good value for money.

My family and I had a lovely time at Gurkha Dining. The food was fresh, delicious and I strongly recommend it to all those in the Macclesfield area.
Delicious meal, excellent veggie options. Mushroom dosa and vegetable Thali. Mmmmmmm
