Gurkhas Nepalese Restaurant

This is our third visit to this restaurant and second weekend in a row, and we can honestly say that the food is authentic, with good sized portions and incredibly tasty. We tried Vegetable Pakoras, momo's small dumpling style with chicken/lamb or spiced veggies inside, lamb korma, lamb jalfrezi, Nepalese special chicken curry, and pilau rice for two. We recommend ordering a larger portion of rice. The garlic nan was also fantastic. The dishes came with lots of sauce, which we personally enjoyed. Went tonight on an our deal (scoopon .... Now, we have had a few of these and normally they can be pretty ****! Well not this time! The young lady that waited on us, was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The food was well presented, tasty and portion size was great. Hubby reckons that his meal (Nepalese beef curry could have been hotter, but it was still lovely. My butter chicken was lovely and creamy (and I've tasted quite a few! The garlic naan was to die for and again, great portion size! Will go back to this Nepalese resturaunt and will be happy to pay full price!

I usually can’t stand Indian food because they put too much chilies even when you ask for no chilies it’s uneatable. I know Gurkhas is Nepalese food but I thought it was the same as Indian food boy was I wrong. That restaurant in High Wycombe has some of the best dishes I’ve had at any place and I eat out often. It’s not the cheapest place I’ve been to but you can tell why in the freshness and quality of the food. Rarely have I been to a restaurant and experienced new flavors and tastes.

Fanflamintastic is the perfect way to describe this friendly restaurant. The food has an explosive flavor that will leave you wanting more. We have been here two out of the past three days and we will definitely be returning. The staff is incredibly friendly - I haven't been to a restaurant like this in years. Only found out about this little gem when a flyer was dropped in our letterbox. We went to try it out last night and we were not disappointed. The inside was clean and fresh with really friendly staff but the food was the best bit! Good size portions and the best Puri I've had in years. Could not fault anything we had and definitely going back again. The bill was on a par with other places we have eaten. Delicious!!!

Tried this restaurant with my Wife and a couple of friends and was definitely not disappointed. The service was very friendly and everything was nice and clean. All the food we got was full of flavour. Highly recommend the Momo's and the Chef's Special Chicken Curry. Also had the Mixed Vege Curry which was pretty awesome as well. Very Generous portion sizes as well. Worth popping in for a visit!!

Tonight was my first time ordering from this restaurant and it was a delicious experience. The food was full of flavors and the portions were very generous, making it great value for money. We ordered the goat curry, meat samosas, and lollipop chicken, all of which were yum! We also ordered garlic naan and roti, and the naan was the best I've had. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Lovely food, service and very nice tables/inside. We live locally and have been driving past it since it opened. Wasn't sure what Nepalese food was, it is very similar to Indian we discovered with buttered chicken etc options on the menu. Highly recommend trying! Reserva una mesa ahora

Wow what a surprise, this restaurant passed all my expectations. The flavors from their food was unbelievable, you have to give them a try. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would, for the whole dining experience.

Consistently delicious food. Lovely friendly service. Momos and Palak Paneer are so good. I love this place.
