I would rate the service five stars, but the food only two. The service was very attentive, although I did notice there were no automatic water refills. One member of our group had a food allergy, and our server went above and beyond to confirm the order was safe from the kitchen. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the food. My chicken gyro looked like it had been pressed in a panini maker, and the pita was rather crunchy. There didn’t seem to be any sauce, and once I broke it down, the chicken tasted quite bland. Pretty disappointed with this place after reading all the reviews. The food was extremely bland. Burger had no seasoning. Western omelet no flavor. Ordered the beef goulash from the Monday specials and it was horrible. Nothing like a proper beef goulash. No sauce, no carrots, just boiled beef and noodles. Waitress was off her game. Never refilled my coffee. Never provided table with waters. Asked for napkins 3 times and never received. She kept forgetting sides, so she ended up having to pack them to go when we asked for them. I recently dined in for brunch and had a delightful experience. The meal was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5 for the food. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a perfect score of 5. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, contributing to a wonderful overall experience, so I rate it a 5 as well. For a price range of $10–20 per person, I found it to be an excellent value. The food at Gus's Diner is delicious, and the service is excellent, thanks to Mary Ann, Donna, Catherine, Arturro, Linda, Jon, and the entire team. It's a wonderful spot for a meal, and I absolutely love their breakfasts. Their burgers, turkey, and tuna fish dishes are outstanding as well. Highly recommend this place!
