Harbourside Market , which has a gourmet supermarket, fresh seafood market ( Tidal), Tartare ( for morning breakfast ) and Gusto, a café in the supermarket is a place one must go to for good and reasonable food. Gusto has 2 chefs...Salvatore ( who makes fresh pastas and lovely sauces , which you could buy to take home or have it cooked for consumption at Gusto ) and Andrew Chapman who prepares lovely weekly specials . Andrew's presentation of the food is way above the normal Australian restaurant standard. This week he offers the crispy snapper wings...wow... presentation tops and taste is so yummy. We needed a place to meet our friends close to their gym and Harbourside Market was close and had a range of eateries. So we got there and discovered that one restaurant and a bakery had just closed down which limited our options somewhat. However we found the Gusto Deli inside and it had tapas and pasta and pizza on the menu all at reasonable prices. Three of us had pasta and I had pork belly. I also managed a taste of one of the pasta dishes. Both very tastyThe coffee was good and the cake was averageSo overall a good experience if you are looking for somewhere for smaller dishes and reasonably priced.Tip - try and get a seat closer to the outside, we were sitting next to the refrigerators...
A great find. When shopping at Harbourtown the eating options are very standard fare and more akin to food court eating - which we avoid. Just a short stroll across the road to the Market Place and inside is a gem. It is a deli as well so it is very tempting to buy extras before leaving. The menu is small, which means they are concentrating on doing the dishes well. Some very interesting options for starters which we enjoyed. The pasta was hearty and we shared the pasta dish as we knew from experience it was large. It is easy to have a chat as there is not undue noise around. We will continue to return when in the area.
This shopping precinct has still to "take off" unknown quantity to a lot of Gold Coast residents. We always find great deli foods in Gusto and the fresh pasta is very good as are the sauce choices.Carmel will make you a beautiful fresh sandwich on your choice of Pannini etc and it really is value for your dollar... coffee comes in from next door at CHOCOLATTO ...my only complaint is the use of the "smaller coffee cups" feels as though you have finished after just a mouthful, however the coffee is very good. It's our local go to and we are looking forward to the opening of the new bakery in the centre.

Great little deli! They are serving good quality coffee and raw desserts along with many more options from sandwiches etc.We had the raw food cakes, they were good. Only disappointment was a cake my husband has was a bit too sweet and it was a bit frustrating there were no ingredients listed.Other than that it was good, I would say to have the ingredients listed and not have too much unnecessary sweeteners in the raw cakes as they are meant to be healthy.
Something has changed at Harbourside Market which encouraged me to try more and I was rewarded with the best paté I've had outside France. I rarely buy in Australia but this one is a standout. The raw/vegan desserts were well-priced, generous and delicious. The service was super friendly, well informed and efficient and the range of healthfood products was impressive.
The Deli has a great range of cheese, meats, dips and their dine in deli menu is fantastic!!! They also have a great selection of deli foods and raw desserts! Yum They use an organic coffee which is to die for! A must see!!!!!!
Satisfying morning, well I liked Perks Kitchen and I had good service too not that they were too busy Waitress remembered my order didn't wait long.

Love dining here. Have been several times and the food is always fresh and tasty and the coffee is excellent.
