A second visit; my wife and I enjoyed a memorable Valentine 's dinner there in 2023. It 's a cozy little place, with the ambience of a cherished French bistro. And a good experience last night, but three stars because I want Gypsy Apple to improve. $45 for mains asks for something special; it 's the most restos ask in our area. A solid outing: food was professionally prepared and delicious. Filet mignon/ red wine and mushroom reduction, with asparagus and mashed potatoes x 2; seared salmon with lobster mashed potatoes; rack of lamb/ mint sauce and potato chimichurri. Local sautéed morel and lobsterhead mushrooms and crab cakes for apps. Vermouth/ sherry cocktails and glasses of Italian and S...

Hard to give more than 3. And we would like to. As it is nice local owned and seems to put in effort. But GA just didn't live up to the hype that some friends shared of being a local favorite. First, have to say that if you are going to offer outdoor seating offer somewhat comfortable level seat. Wobbly uneven metal chairs leave something to be desired. Sorry. And a little love to straighten up the bamboo wall would go a long way. Also this is what we get for seating when we have a reservation? Just kind of uhg. Second the best part of dinner was the bread. Warm and tasty with tapenade etc. I love a good caesar but this was just too salty and too much dressing. Entree of Striped Bass and ris...

The wine list is relatively reasonably priced, with interesting choices. We had a very good non-Champagne bubbly from the Loire Valley. Bread and flavored butter very good. Shared a wedge salad, which was excellent, 'tho I didn 't think salty bacon and ? slivers of fried onion matched the dish. Main courses (large) were thick tuna steak and duck breast, accompanied by good vegetables. Both were ordered rare, and we probably should have sent the duck back for a serious sear. We 'd love to come back, in spite of our less-than-perfe...

Our favorite restaurant in Shelburne! We have not had a bad meal here. The wine pairing dinners are amazing. The duck is out of this word. Cannot recommend this enough. Michaelangelo is always creating new and interesting dishes. A very nice and intimate dining experience.
