I had an amazing experience at Gypsy Grill today. After spending all day in the hospital with my dad, I visited the restaurant feeling unwell and with a small appetite. The person at the counter kindly offered me a sample of their delicious soup to help with my headache while I waited for my food. When my chicken platter arrived, it not only looked and smelled amazing, but it tasted incredible as well. The marinated chicken, rice, and salad were all perfect. I have found my new favorite spot and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Gypsy Grill, for your kindness and delicious food. You have gained a loyal customer for life.
This restaurant offers a casual setting where you can enjoy delicious shawarma and kabob dishes. I ordered the lamb beef shawarma platter, which was both aromatic and flavorful with tender meat that was perfectly seasoned. The portion size was generous and filled me up completely after a long day of travel. I can't wait to come back here the next time I'm craving shawarma. Overall, it's a great choice for takeout, offering quality food at an affordable price.
DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT HAIR IN YOUR FOOD! I asked for a refund the owner or whoever told me I needed to have the food present in order to get a refund. I threw away the sand which in which he offered another one. But why would I want to take another sandwich if the first one had hair in it. The owner was VERY rude about it. I would never come here again.
We recently catered from Gypsy Grill and they exceeded our expectations! The food came packaged well and stayed warm and included a ton of sauces on the side. Everything tasted delicious!! The meats were great and the koshary was one of the best I have ever had out. Would definitely order from them again!

The food at this restaurant was truly incredible, some of the best Middle Eastern cuisine I have ever tasted. I tried the chicken shawarma sandwich and their gypsy fries, both of which were delicious with generous portions. I was very satisfied with my meal and will definitely be returning in the future.
One of my favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in Jersey City! The staff is incredibly friendly, especially the ladies at the counter. Their Shawafel sandwiches are delicious, especially when paired with gypsy fries for a satisfying meal. The prices are also very reasonable.
The restaurant provides excellent service and the food is very tasty. I usually order the chicken shawarma, which is my favorite. I also tried the Hawashi recently and it was delicious, although I felt it was a bit expensive for the portion size.
The absolute best Mediterranean food in town! I always cater from there and all the dishes are fresh and delicious. From the mixed grill to the koshary to the hawawshi, they never fail to impress me and my guests. 100/10!

I haven’t been here in person, but I’ve ordered delivery a few times and it’s always good. I love the chicken shwarma and the servings or the hummus and pita are always huge and leave plenty of leftovers.
I have never had hummus and falafel as delicious as this before. I am looking forward to having it again soon!
