I used to eat at Gyro George all the time, but moved further away years back. In the past, I would have given a full 5 because the food was tasty and the owner was so kind. It's been about 7 or 8 years since I had them and decided to splurge ordering a few jumbo gyro combos for my fiancé and myself from Doordash and spent $60 in total on this splurge. They just don't taste like how I remember nor as good, to get to the point. They pile on the meat like they used to for sure, but the edges weren't crisp, there was almost no lettuce, the cucumber sauce was way thicker and not as flavorful and the gyro tasted slightly soapy for some reason. I ordered the Clevelander, which included two eggs, two pancakes, and three sausage links. I also added cheese grits, bringing the total to $14.99. The grits were lumpy and runny. The sausage, eggs, and pancakes were all great, but they placed the eggs on top of the pancakes—I've included a photo after I moved them aside. The grits were $5, but I didn’t think they were worth it, so I didn’t eat them.
Quick service and friendly staff! The prices are fantastic! The food is freshly cooked and delicious, with excellent deals. I'm planning to stop by here on my way home because it's so much more affordable.

Went here for a doordash? place looks so disgusting? No bathrooms they?re closed,not clean at all, water leaking from ice bin and ceilings. I wouldn?t order from here based on cleanliness.
I go there when every few weeks they stack on the meat and give you a free soft drink to boot it is by far the best gyro light on the salad hard on the onion for me!!!
