Esta fue la segunda semana de nuestro 'Curry Safari' para encontrar el mejor restaurante indio en nuestro vecindario. Para aquellos de ustedes que lo conozcan, nuestro haunt regular es la esencia de la India en Kinross, por lo que tenemos lo que consideramos un alto punto de referencia para comenzar. Así que los Haandi, ¿qué podemos decir? 5 estrellas todo el camino. Nuestra primera impresión del edificio y la decoración era estupenda, el personal (joven llamado Raj) era agradable, conocedor y atento, aunque el restaurante estaba extrañamente vacío. La comida era excelente y nuestro propio sistema de puntuación de Curry Safari patentados entró con una friolera del 87%. Esto va a ser difícil...
This was the second week of our 'Curry Safari' to find the best Indian restaurant in our neighbourhood. For those of you that know it, our regular haunt is the Essence Of India in Kinross so we have what we consider a high benchmark to start with. So the Haandi, what can we say? 5 stars all the way. Our first impression of the building and decor was great, the staff (young lady called Raj) was pleasant, knowledgable and attentive although the restaurant was strangely empty. The food was superb and our own proprietary Curry Safari scoring system came in with a whopping 87%. This is going to be hard to beat. Highly recommended. See you there, we will be back for sure.
Los curries aquí son bastante impresionantes. ¿Cuántos (y quiero decir tantos) para elegir? Los panes de Naan también eran frescos y deliciosos. El personal era muy acogedor y atento, teníamos una pequeña y pequeña puerta de la puerta en nuestra mesa para llamar su atención, lo que pensé que era bastante divertido ... ¡Y SMART! Los precios estaban allí para un restaurante indio, pero no puedes poner un precio en calidad. Además, es de BYO, ¡así que si eres como yo y me encantan algunos de los Brewski de la cara con tu curry, entonces ya estás salvando alguna moneda! El restaurante, decoración, ambiente estuvo bien, si vuelvo, lo más probable es que sea para llevar.
The curries here are pretty awesome.. so many (and I mean SO many) to choose from! The naan breads were also fresh and delicious. Staff were very welcoming and attentive, we had a cute little doorbell on our table to get their attention which I thought was pretty fun.. and smart! Prices were up there for an Indian restaurant, but you can't put a price on quality. Plus it's BYO, so if you're like me and love a few brewski's to side with your curry then you're already saving some coin! The restaurant, decor, ambiance was okay - if I come back it will most likely be takeaway.

Went there for curry with friends last Saturday we had the tasting plate, not too bad, onion bhaji was flat and when you cut into it grease oozed out. Most of the dishes were not really hot as temperature and looked like they had been sitting in their bowls for a while in fact one of the chicken dishes had a skin forming and needed to be stirred to make it look appetising. The garlic naan bread was also greasy and flat. All in all very disappointing and a waste of money.

No puedo criticar este lugar, he estado 5 veces hasta ahora y también tuve algunos quites. El restaurante está bien distribuido y muy agradable de comer. La comida es un precio razonable y magnífico. Hemos probado los Madras, Tikki Masala, Butter Chicken, Haandi Curry y todos han sido de primera calidad. Los naans son preciosos y no cocinados y siempre hay suficiente para todos. También te dan una tarjeta de descuento que es un buen toque.
I can't fault this place I have been 5 times so far and also had a few take aways. The resturant is well laid out and very nice to eat in. The food is reasonable priced and gorgeous. We have tried the madras, tikki masala, butter chicken, haandi curry and they have all been top quality. The naans are lovely and not over cooked and there is always enough for everybody. Also they give you a discount card which is a nice touch.

Struggle to find a decent take away curry sometimes but this place is too good!
