We have been in this village last 3 days. We had drink on this pub Thursday and Friday night and for our last night we decided to have dinner here as well. We ordered cheese platter (you can’t get anything wrong with cheese from packet and beef pork meatballs which for some reason had tumeric/ cumin seasoning in. Very overpowered by the tomato sauce. Which is very unusual for Italian dish. I had the burger. The cheddar bear in mind £2 per slice extra wasn’t even melt on meat. Meat was very dry, bun wasn’t toasted. Someone just send it without minimum effort with charging high end prices . The cherry on cake was my husband’s steak. Good lord help. He ordered it medium rare . The steak looked...

Can’t fault our experience at the Haford at all. It’s was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We booked a Sunday lunch after having a morning walk at the Hafod estate. The staff we very friendly, and the food was amazing! Literally the best Sunday roast we have had anywhere. We both had the beef brisket which was melt in your mouth! Cooked perfectly. Plenty on the plate, we certainly didn’t go away feeling hungry! Nice relaxed atmosphere aswell. I’m surprised to see reviews saying the food it expensive for what it is? We found it completely the opposite! Very happy with our visit, thank you Haford. We look forward to returning. Laura Leigh Cooper.

Certainly this place has an advantage as being the only nearby restaurant to tourist spot Devil’s Bridge. The service is super friendly and caring, we had three different workers look after us during our lunch stop. Unfortunately we can’t say the food was as nice as the service in addition to being overpriced, the portions are quite modest. We all felt hungry after our meal and (regrettably) then forked out more dough on dessert. Dear friends lower your prices, increase your portion size, but keep your adorable and lovely staff!

Would not recommend this place . Service was not great and food could have been better. Main courses were brought to the table before we were finished our starters and therefore had to be taken back. When main courses were returned the roast was “ swimming” in gravy and the Yorkshire was like cardboard also the fish and chips were very greasy. Altogether not an enjoyable experience and certainly not worth the money ! Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely beautiful place but we didn’t eat here as we felt it was too expensive. We did the Long Walk at Devil’s Bridge and came here after completing the walk for a nice cold drink what a relief! So lovely that this was literally just over the road! Immaculately clean venue and toilets and very polite staff.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. We were told we'd enjoy it by the man behind the bar he wasn't wrong. We both had roast dinners (good value). So much food crammed onto one plate with lots of flavours plenty of gravy. Staff all lovely. Highly recommended

Visited early on a Friday night and just managed to get a table. Dog friendly and staff are very good. We had burger and Thai curry and both were very good. Right at the end of the devils bridge walk and a very welcome sight.

Good food prepared in a reasonable time. Portion sizes were good, the haddock was massive! Not the cheapest but to be fair this isn't McDonald's and you get what you pay for! Also, toilets were spotless! Reserva una mesa ahora

Another wonderful evening/meal at the Hafod this evening. 3 courses… first class… service 2nd to none. Love it. If you don’t visit, you’re missing out.
