I recently enjoyed an outing with a friend at this restaurant, and overall, it was a delightful experience.
We kicked off our meal with some guacamole and margaritas. While the guacamole was light and fresh, it leaned a bit too heavily on the tomatoes and felt somewhat lackluster. However, the blackened tacos were quite tasty, and the elote was absolutely fantastic. As for the margaritas, they were pretty standard and didn’t have much of a kick.
Our server, Chris, truly made our visit memorable. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure to answer all our questions with a positive attitude.

Server was rude and rushed a party of 9. Also, it clearly states a side is included with tacos, yet we were charged extra. When mentioned, the server said tater tots were an upgrade. I said it's not stated on the menu. Server sarcastically said, ok I'll give you the 2$.Only reason atmosphere was 4* is because we sat outside.For a burrito, a protein is mentioned but doesn't list them. When order was requested to be changed, server sneered that the kitchen had already started making the order and it would really screw up the kitchen if he changed it.Manager came out, when told about the extra charge, he said, yeah, we need to do something about that.They eventually took 10$ off one check. Decent drinks and beer selection. Servers are attentive and friendly, but the food is bad. The chicken and Al pastor taste bland, stringy, and is served soaking in a watery broth that turns chips and tortillas into mush. The salsa and queso is bland. The fish and shrimp is frozen and served deep-fried. The pineapple salsa taste like it came from a can. Go here for a drink if you want, but stay far, far away from the food.Kid-friendliness: They have hot dogs, nuggets, and kid burgers which taste better than the grown-up food.
Stale chips, every server/bartender busy chatting and on their phones, had to get up and go ask for check and box, watched two groups of people wait by the door to be sat and left because hostess was chatting with servers and bartender...restaurant was almost empty so no reason for poor service. Food was great so may try again, but consistent complaints abt chips plus poor service needs to be addressed.

With this part of Hale Street closed to allow eating outside under the tent, it really makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive; the food was spot on. The menu has more traditional Mexican takes on food as well as twists the ChickenBLT tacos were very, very good. The surprise was the jalapeno balsamic vinaigrette. Definitely worth the trip downtown.
Overall, sat at the bar, had a burrito, salad, and some cocktails. The food was great, there was much more I wanted to try but the stomach wasn't having it. The drinks were top notch. The service was outstanding. Crowd that night wasn't really my type,but you can't be perfect in all areas. Will be back in the future.
Staff was great and attentive. It looked more like a sports bar with a lot of tvs tuned into sports events. Food was pretty bland. The rice had no flavor, and the salsa and chips reminded me of Chili 's Bar Grill. Skip this place if you are seeking 'authentic ' Mexican foos.
This is a fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. A couple of the dishes arrived a bit colder than we expected, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. However, don’t let that deter you from giving this place a try!

I absolutely love this place, and it's all thanks to Alex. He is truly a gem and an exceptional bartender/server. He deserves all the recognition he can get! Thank you, Alex, for your warm hospitality and great vibes.
Great times whenever I visit this place. I always love to get the Frito Burrito! Delicious!! Loving this time outside with the weather getting cooler, it's so nice to sit under the tent.
