Halle de Rive - Reserva de mesa

I stumbled upon this bistro whilst between meetings. It is situated within Les Halles indoor market, which is worth a visit on its own. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are most welcoming. There is a mixture of locals and businessmen/women all who seem...to enjoy the ambience, good food and wine, beer or champagne take your pick. If you visit Geneva I would say that it is a must, to have lunch or afternoon drinks, don’t miss out. Matthew the owner and his staff are all charming and nothing is too much trouble. It is refreshing to find such a hidden gem. Oh and as a p.s. it is not too expensive which is also good in Geneva!

Surprised to finally find some great market cheese and deli produce in Geneva. The highlight was the fois gras at a little shop to the side of the main thoroughfair. See the picture of the amazing pastry rolls. These are like super luxurious Wellingtons.

A feast of everything your would need for breakfast, lunch and dinner is here. A find in the rather sterile food world of Geneva. Also a good place to sit and have an aperitif after work.....you will really be with the locals.

5 chicken skewers and a little eggplant for 54 francs?? It's too expensive ! Lebanese is too expensive in general, except for the shandwiches/shawarmas which are 10chf, the only reasonable price Reserva una mesa ahora

Fresh products from many countries, mainly Swiss, Italian, French, and a bit of Asian cuisine. The price is a bit higher.
