Halls Chophouse Greenville

Isaac really took this evening above par. Our server was excellent in every way, but the catered bar service was phenomenal. Personally I've never ad caviar, but what a pairing with the scallops! My husband makes risotto frequently, yet the servings from Halls still feels elegant and special. Honestly the only denote on the evening is parking. I'm not asking for valet (but let's face facts, this is the type of place one could expect it) but it'd be nice to not need to walk a few blocks before being seated. After my birthday dinner at jianna, my wife and I went to Hall?s for some dessert and drinks. Everything was really good but we felt like we were being pressured to order more drinks in their lounge area. We weren?t even there for more than 30 minutes and we kept getting asked repeatedly if we want more drinks. But obviously if they had just look down we were trying to enjoy or drink and dessert. Went to Hall 's January '21 to celebrate my and my sister 's bdays and had an amazing dining experience. Such a wonderful impression that we returned again to celebrate me being 10 years cancer free! This restaurant is a true gem. Located right on the river in downtown Greenville. The first impression when we walked in the door was we are not only going to enjoy the food, we enjoyed the live music and the overall atmosphere. The food was cooked perfectly and prepared just like each of us asked for. The waitress was very knowledgeable and made several great recommendations. Service: Accommodating Floor Manager and staff were superb! Beverages Sweet tea, strong but sweet enough Lemonade (strawberry) quite tart, refreshing French onion soup, a little salty but still good. Housemade fried onions as a dressing a plus Porkchops- seasoned well, cooked almost perfect Ribeye- seared as requested, seasoning lacks salt, well done, tender Sautéed mushrooms and onions a bit sour Broccolini no seasoning almost raw consistency

Our experience at Halls was fantastic. The service was amazing, the good delicious. Beautiful views. Literally one of the best dining experiences we?ve had. Kimberly was our server and was the best. The general manager was so welcoming, and we were treated so well, even though we came in wearing workout gear from walking around the city AND with 3 kids in tow. Keep up the great work, Halls. Would definitely recommend.

So far this is the best place in the area for steak. There are a variety of cuts to choose from as well as other menu options (my wife enjoyed the grouper). Also the caramel and chocolate cakes were very good. They have a large seating area that can accommodate a couple or a large group. We will definitely be coming back here
