We went during a lull in the excitement, and I was less than impressed. The food preparation was meh (the fresh veggie side was clearly a standard frozen vegetable trio of broccoli, cauliflower and carrot); the wine options were ridiculously poor, the service was lackluster (although there were only three in our party and the dining room was otherwise empty, it took nearly an hour for two of us to get our food, while the order for our third was not put in at all), and the facilities are rather sad. Brought a group of 18 to Mary's on a Saturday afternoon in June. Looked like there was only one person working? I made a reservation but the place was wide open, maybe only a couple other tables at 4:30pm that Saturday. I know it's busier later. Food was pretty good and prices were reasonable! I hope the service times are better during busy times; our server was also the host and bartender which was awkward.
While in town from New York, visiting my brothers, we went to Hamburger Mary's for the Thursday Night Drag Show. I really enjoyed myself. The MC was super funny and the Drag Queens were super fabulous! The drinks were delicious, food was great. And overall, the Drags were beautifully a plus. I will definitely be stopping in again, next time I'm in LA :
Everyone was super friendly. The Drag Show was a fantastic mix of hilarious and hot. Our server got our food order in very quickly, so we were eating within 20 minutes. I would say the only negative is that food is just barely okay and over priced.

Great location for food and show. The queens are AMAZING, the staff are very friendly, and food was delicious. I had the queen mary burger and it had hot melted cheese and crisp bacon... yum! Cooked perfectly.

The wait for our table was very long! Once we were seated, it look 25 minutes for them to take out order. Good was okay, but not worth the awful service...
Super AWESOME drag show! Wendy Ho is awesome too! This is definitely a great hangout spot, also WeHo bars and clubs are within walking distance too.

Skip it. Horrendously awful food. Disinterested servers. 6 of them socializing full time while our drinks never refilled. Run down.
Nice lunch BUT they would not take my Open Table check. I wonder if most of Open Tables restaurant will not take the checks?
