The quality of the food at this restaurant is still excellent, however, I have noticed that the portion sizes have been decreasing with each order. My favorite dish, the asada fries, used to come in a generous portion that I could not finish in one sitting, but now it is barely enough to satisfy my hunger. It appears that the restaurant is reducing portion sizes in order to increase their profits.
9. Combo# 9 (3) Quesabirrias were fantastic! So much flavor. Im new to St Paul and Ive been disappointed by more places than Ive been impressed by. Hamburguesas El Gordo is a no-frills destination. You will NOT be disappointed. The Tres Leches melts in your mouth. Ive visited twice, will visit again soon. Thank yall

After a car ride, the tacos may not be as crispy, but they are incredibly flavorful. These are by far the best quesabirrias I have ever had delivered in the area. The green sauce is also amazing, with just the right amount of spice – somewhere between mild and moderate.
I tried the vegan burrito at this restaurant, and although it was large and satisfying, the selection of vegan options is limited. The burrito was delicious and very filling, but I believe that offering more vegan dishes would greatly benefit this establishment.
The combo was amazing in terms of price and taste. I usually wouldnt get the burger here cause love their other mexican stuff, but my friend said to try it once. It was tasty and plenty of meat, so indeed, glad I tried the combo.
The Asada Fries may not remain crispy after a car ride, but they are incredibly delicious and definitely worth it. The sogginess of the fries actually enhances the flavors as they soak up the delicious meat and salsa.
