after the walk in dean village, my friend and I decided to lunch in stockbridge. we had never been to hamilton’s, but we were tried by the menu. it is quite large in the inner and has a good selection of sitting opportunities, from large tables with comfortable sofas or smaller, formal tables; that means it is ideal for all occasions. we chose a comfortable seat and spent the next few minutes discussing what of the many tasting sounding items to choose on the menu! A Stockbridge Gem!. I have been to Hamilton's a few times now and it never disappoints! It's a great place to come with a group of friends or as a couple, it caters to everyone. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and are always happy to recommend dishes and cocktails. My favourite main course is the fish stew, which comes with amazing home made bread, and for something to share, you can't go wrong with the nachos! My favourite cocktails on the list has to be the fabulous Clover Club I always have a great time at Hamilton's whether it's for lunch, dinner or drinks with friends. Five stars!
hamiltons is what I would call my natives. I'm not regular, but have visited the place a few times in the last few years. it is located in a very practical location directly opposite the bus stop at hamilton place and is a stone throw away from the very popular and busy Sunday stockbridge market. it benefits from a high footfall and the curse of tourists and locals who like to wander through the beautiful streets of stockbridge.
came here for a few drinks and maybe a bite to eat. the merciful (caroline and megan) were beautiful and really geduld when they decide for ever what we wanted to eat, after the decision we wanted to stay. had no pressure and knew when to come to ask what we really friendly staff to order and a nice atmosphere if they want to drink or eat delicious, go here also dog friendly so always a bonus

Nice atmosphere but not sure about Food. Maybe we came here on bad day as there was a birthday party due in soon but we found service slow ½ hour to serve brunch. No butter on toast which was only toasted on one side. The eggs Benedict had miniscule amounts of hollandaise sauce on it, poached egg was partly cooked and it came with bacon rather than ham. The bacon was more fat than bacon
large menu with main dishes and small bites so perfect for drinks. there is a separate sitting area when they have a meal, although it was beautiful. the service was quick and friendly and accredited on special requests. eating was fantastic- recommend the veggie burger!
Went to hamiltons the other day and was quite impressed with their cocktails. There was a lot of people, including groups of rowdy men. The staff are all pretty fit (guys and girls). This place is definitely a keeper!!!!!!!
A great place for a beer or for food. I've been in Hamilton's many times and its always good. The have Innis and Gunn lager on tap and also the bottled beers. When I have had food there its been great and very tasty!

Excellent service. Very good food. The king prawns and chorizo were super. Blown away by the tomato sauce with the mussels.
