The main buffet looked appealing, with three vegetable curries, an aubergine salad, two meat dishes, and a squid curry, all served with saffron rice and poppadoms. Unfortunately, the flavors were underwhelming. Everything seemed to blend together without the vibrant aromas typical of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine—there wasn't even a hint of chili. Many of the distinctive flavors that usually characterize Sri Lankan food were missing. The only dish that stood out in terms of taste was the aubergine salad.
It's a shame that they opted not to serve authentic food, seeming instead to cater to a different market. This restaurant has great potential, but unfortunately, they are missing the mark...
