Hammerwirt - Reservar una mesa

After getting rejected several times trying to book a place to eat in Salzburg on New Year's Eve, we stumbled upon this place when we searched for restaurants in the outskirts of town. We are so glad that we did! This place provided the best service we've had during our trip. As soon as we sat on our table, the waiter very helpfully translated every item on the menu since none of us speaks German, and his english was unexpectedly very good! He was very welcoming and very attentive. The food selection was great too. They have typical austrian dishes like schnitzel and different kinds of pork dishes. But some of us wanted a break from eating too much meat, and the fish and vegetarian dishes are all so interesting. The food came quickly and the portions were quite big. For the excellent service and great food quality, it was definitely worth it! We truly recommend this place to everyone!

-Menu was in German, but the waiter took the time to patiently explain every item in English. In addition, they are very flexible in accommodating menu changes.-Food was very authentic, delicious, and fresh.-Family run restaurant ambiance with comfortable seating.-Service was excellent.Would recommend this to everyone!

You may read in the reviews that this is Austria’s best food and it may not be far from truth. All three courses are very impressive and staff are very friendly in this homey restaurant serving local and international dishes with Italian motives on the outskirts of Hallein / Salzburg.

The reception is very warm. The decoration is traditional. The meal was very good. it's a good experience. I recommand.

Till now the best restaurant we eat in Austria. Very taisty soups and meat dishes. We planning to come back tomorrow!
