Hampton Park Fish & Chips

So I had the sudden urge for Fish n Chips and being new to the area, relied on Google to find me the closest spot. I called to see if I could place a phone order ahead and spoke with a lovely lady who was delightful over the phone. Upon arrival I was meant by the same voice and pleasant service along with smiles from the other young lady behind the counter also. Arriving home, I found the burger to be on point for a Fish n Chip shop burger and the chips and potato cake cooked to perfection as well.

this was earlier a great place to buy fish and chips, but a new visit (after the way away from the previous years,) found me regretted to return my decision. When I entered, the place looked tired, like the personal that ignored me. at least a few minutes before my order. when opening my order at my friend's place, we realized that half the order was missing, chips were soggy and my jump was so overcooked that it was dark brown and hard to bite. very disappointed and unsuccessful.

to dinner a few flock fishes away. the fish was fried to a golden brown perfection. packed in traditional paper, it was a sight to see how the wrap style is the old, traditional style of packing these fish chips. the fish was moist, tender and tasty. batter was perfect. the only thing missing is a piece of lemon/life to sprinkle on the fish and some mayonnaise. Apart from that, it was perfect.

fish business ever. flake paper thin, shattered like a crippy potato cake undercooked. south melbourne market dim sim so overhauled only a mouthful meat edible. hamburger in batter more like a smashed piece minze in batter, grilled and completely tasteless. We ordered burgers and fries at this restaurant. The kids ordered schnitzel burgers while I opted for a standard fish burger. The burgers were absolutely fantastic, with lightly toasted buns, delicious fish, and fresh lettuce. It was a great treat for our Australian Day celebrations and we left feeling satisfied.

This restaurant has the best and most amazing service. I always enjoy getting four potato cakes with lots of salt and vinegar. The owners are very polite and generous. I have never enjoyed food from fish and chip shops before, but I can't wait to come back for their daily specials.

i've only had the chips here, which were pretty good. They'd sell massive bags of them which my friends would buy to eat together. I’ve heard that they burnt down at some point, but have reopened since. I hope they're doing alright.
